New York Theatre Ballet “Legends and Visionaires”

What I saw last night. New York Theatre Ballet at the 92nd Street Y. IMG_4925In the first piece there are funny steps and a violinist escorted on stage to accompany a pianist. The second piece is a duet with a marble bench, two dancers and music coming out of only one of the four speakers. The third piece I can’t remember well but I think it has a lot of crossing back and forth. The fourth piece was two women and live piano. The final piece was goofy with odd green costumes like an old space opera.
Elements: stone bench as a balcony, live music
Titles:“Short Memory” by Pam Tanowitz “Pas de Duex from Romeo & Juliet” “A Rugged Flourish” by Richard Alston “Rondo” by Jerome Robbins “Game Two” by Matthew Neenan
